Crocheted Ladybug Hair Clip Pattern

This project is a quick and easy way to use up scraps of yarn. You may need to change the size of your hook depending on what type of scraps you are using. These ladybugs could also be used for other applique projects. Have fun and enjoy this free crochet pattern!
You Will Need:

Yarn Scraps- I used Red Heart Super Saver scraps.
Size 6 Crochet Hook
Stitch Marker
Yarn Needle
Hair Clip
Hot or Super Glue

Do not join rounds throughout project. Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round.

Round 1) Ch 2, 6 sc in 2 ch from hook. Mark last stitch with stitch marker. (6 sc)

Round 2) 2 sc each sc around. Do not join! (12 sc)

Round 3) *1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc* Repeat 5 times.  Tie off. (18 sc)

Round 4) Attach Color B. 3 dc in next sc.

Round 5) Slip stitch in next sc. Tie off.

With yarn needle, create six dots on back of ladybug. Weave loose ends into wrong side of crochet work with yarn needle. With glue, attach hair clip.
